What does the entry fee cover?The entry fee is directly put toward the contestant experience including but limited to prize package, food, beverages, and contestant swag bag.

Does MGFL provide financial support to complete requirements during the winners’ reign?The short answer is yes. MGFL leadership will support based on availability of funds beyond the existing cash prize package. In fact, MGFL has previously supported their past winners at other competitions during and after their reign.

When did MGFL start?MGFL started in 2015 and had its first competition in 2016.

Why are the cash awards different for the Miss and Mr. divisions?The Miss division is in its 10th year and the Mr. Division is in its first. We have a strategic plan for these prize packages to be equitable and equal by 2027. The Mr. Division prize package is comparable to the prize package of the Miss division in its first year.

When do tickets go on sale?March 1, 2025 and they can be purchased on the MGFL website.

Can I bring someone who is under the age of 18?Yes, in fact, our venue is family friendly and there is no age restriction to attend our pageant.

How do I become a contestant for MGFL?Review all of the information on our Competition Details Page . If you believe you can meet all of the requirements, utilize the 'Click Here to Register' button in order to register to become a constant.

Is there an award for first runner up?The first runner up will have their entry fee waived for next year’s pageant.

What type of scoring system is used at MGFL?The scoring system is a ranking score system similar to that of the Olympics. A detailed explanation of the scoring system can be viewed by clicking here.

Do contestants receive individual score sheets?Yes. All contestants receive individual score sheets from each judge at the conclusion of the competition. The complete score sheet for all contestants will be available on the MGFL website within 24 hours of the completion of the pageant.

How large is the stage?Click here to see the technical specs for the Smith Opera House. The stage is large enough to fit the maximum number of people (9) on stage at a time. The stage can also hold very large props.

Are there mirrors in the dressing rooms?Yes. Each dressing room is equipped with well lit mirrors. Some of the dressing rooms don’t have mirrors but mirrors are provided by MGFL.

As a contestant, will I have my own dressing room?Unfortunately no, but the dressing rooms are nice!
